Your website is the first place the public goes to to learn about your nonprofit. Years ago, interested community members might call you to request brochures about your work or stop by to learn what you do, but that isn’t the case in today’s digital age. We live in the age of Google. Your nonprofit needs a professional, informative, and multifaceted website to establish a presence in your community. And fundraising should be at the center of your nonprofit’s web presence. An easy and clear donation form on your nonprofit website increases the likelihood of successful contributions to your cause. And that’s where Mightycause comes in.

Represent your brand

As your nonprofit grows and your brand gains recognition, it’s important to ensure that your branding is consistent throughout your online channels. Mightycause’s embeddable donation form allows you to ensure that your nonprofit’s brand is front and center. Simply copy and paste the code we generate for you to accept donations on any page of your website. A donation page that accurately represents your brand helps build trust and security with your donors.

Optimized donation flow

It’s a golden rule of fundraising and web design — if you want people to do something, make it easy for them. So we’ve designed an embeddable donation form with the user experience as the top priority to drive conversions for your nonprofit.

Donate from any device

According to the Pew Research Center, one in ten Americans is a “smartphone-only” internet user. That means the days of having an online donation form that’s not optimized for mobile users are over. The embeddable form makes it safe and convenient for donors to support your cause on any desktop browser or mobile device. Additionally, you can reach more donors by providing preferred payment methods like PayPal, Venmo, Apple Pay, Google Pay, and ACH.

Easy recurring donations

Having monthly revenue you can count on is essential to running a nonprofit, and that’s why we’ve made it so easy for donors to set up a recurring donation. With just one click, your donors can set up secure monthly donations to your nonprofit. We take care of withdrawing the donation each month and issuing a receipt. Your donors can easily manage their recurring donations from their Mightycause user account. Looking to make recurring even easier? The embeddable form allows you to set monthly giving as the pre-set option for donors. All your nonprofit has to do is sit back, collect the donation, and continue doing your important work.

Set your own suggested donation amounts

We know how important it is for your nonprofit to be able to set suggested donation amounts. These suggestions can tie into your campaigns, represent sponsorship levels at your nonprofit, or help push low-level donors to support your nonprofit with a bigger donation. Add custom donation suggestions to your donation form to drive home your mission. Any changes you make to your donation levels will get automatically updated on your website, without any code changes needed!

Custom fields

Add custom questions to your form to collect the information you need to fundraise better and connect with your supporters more meaningfully.

Utilize the variety of question-and-answer options available to create a form that captures the data you need. With the embeddable form, your nonprofit has more control over the information you collect about your donors.

Keep donors on your website

Keeping visitors engaged on your website is essential. And can also be a little difficult, given that the average person has an attention span of mere seconds online. Once a donation is processed through your form, donors will automatically be shown a thank-you message.

Include images, videos, or any essential calls to action. This allows you to keep your donors engaged and curate your donors’ experience.

Embed Today

The embeddable donation form is available to Essentials and Accelerate users on Mightycause. Through Essentials and Accelerate your nonprofit can create your own custom donation page and access other advanced features, such as:

  • Text-to-Give
  • Full-service CRM
  • Unlimited Peer-to-Peer, Team & Event fundraisers

  1. Hi Linda. What exactly is razoo? Is this a platform that allows multiple fundraisers to reach donors or is this for a single fundraiser? Thanks

    1. Hi Lu! Razoo is an online fundraising platform for nonprofits. We allow multiple fundraisers, and nonprofits all have an evergreen page they can use for year-round fundraising efforts. You can find out more about nonprofit fundraising on Razoo here: https://www.razoo.com/nonprofits

You can email me at linda@razoo.com if you have any other questions!

    1. Hi Katie! The Custom Donation Page we talk about in this post is specifically a page controlled by a nonprofit that can be embedded on their website. But for individuals who want to fundraise for a cause on Razoo, yes! If you’re creating a team or running a peer-to-peer campaign, they can definitely edit their page to tell their own story and talk about their connection to the cause. 🙂

Here’s a link to more info about fundraisers you might find helpful: https://blog.razoo.com/support/how-to-make-your-charitable-fundraising-page-awesome/. With team fundraisers (which are competitive peer-to-peer fundraisers) you can actually create a template to help fundraisers get set up, which they can edit to add personal details: https://blog.razoo.com/support/managing-your-team/.

    1. Hi Jessica! There is a 2.9% + 30¢ fee on all transactions for credit card processing. Pricing otherwise depends on the type of plan your nonprofit has. We’re happy to discuss our pricing and help your nonprofit find the plan that works best for your budget if you’d like to reach out to us at support@mightycause.com!
