Who can create a personal fundraiser on Mightycause?

Personal fundraising on Mightycause means you can fundraise for a person or cause — even ones that aren’t nonprofits. Going on a mission trip this summer? Need help with your medical expenses? Helping a family recover from a natural disaster? You can start a fundraiser for yourself, or raise funds for a family or friend in need. Organizations that are awaiting their 501(c)3 Letter of Determination from the IRS, international nonprofits not yet registered in the U.S., and businesses can also set up personal fundraisers on Razoo.

How do I publish my personal fundraiser?

Make sure to fill out all the sections with a “!” on it. Once you complete all the required sections (Title, Categories, Image/Video, Goal, Duration, Organizer Info, Description and Bank Setup), you’ll see a blue Publish button appear at the bottom of the screen. You’ll be prompted to either Publish or Continue Editing. Once you click Publish, your page will be live so you can start sharing your page and raising the funds you need for your cause!

How do I receive funds from my fundraiser?

Once a donation is successfully processed by Mightycause, it is passed along to wepay to manage disbursement of funds to your bank account. Funds will be available for transfer 2-5 business days after the donation is made and posted to your account.

Why was my fundraiser deleted?

Mightycause will never delete fundraisers without permission from the fundraiser organizer, unless we’ve found the fundraiser in clear violation of our terms of use. We may remove any User Content that we determine in our sole discretion is fraudulent, threatening, libelous, defamatory, or otherwise objectionable, or infringe or violate any party’s intellectual property or other proprietary rights. You can read more in our Terms of Use.
