Step-by-step instructions for finding receipts for past donations, and downloading or printing your annual giving statement.

Mightycause aims to make it easy for users to contribute to important causes, so we’ve also made it easy for your to manage your donations by providing receipts and annual giving statements. These are accessible to Mightycause users at all times and your can look them up as you need them.

Accessing Receipts

Mightycause will email you a receipt for each donation you make, but we also store printer-friendly receipts for each donation in your Mightycause account. To find a receipt for a past donation, log into your Mightycause account and click on your name from the site menu that appears when you hover over your name.

When you’re on your profile page, scroll down to see tabs you can toggle between.

Click on the tab that says “Your Contributions.”

In the “Your Contributions” tab, you’ll see a list of all of the donations you’ve made, plus any “likes” or “shares” of a Mightycause page.

Under each monetary donation, you’ll see a link that says “Get Receipt.”

When you click “Get Receipt,” you’ll open a printer-friendly receipt for your donation.

At the corner of the page with your receipt, you’ll see a “Print Receipt” icon. You can click this to print your receipt, but you can also save your receipt by clicking “Print Receipt.” To save your receipt to your computer, click “Print Receipt,” but instead of choosing your printer, change your destination to “Save as PDF.”

Then click “Save” to download your receipt as a PDF.

Accessing your annual giving statement

All donations made to charitable organizations on Mightycause are tax-deductible. You will be emailed a receipt as soon as your donation is complete and you’re able to access your receipts at any time through your Mightycause account, but to make it easy to claim those donations on your taxes, Mightycause compiles a printer-friendly annual giving statement for all donors. You will receive an email with a link to your statement as soon as it becomes available, but we also make it available year-round through your Mightycause profile.

To find your annual giving statement, log into your Mightycause account and click on your name from the site menu that appears when you hover over your name.

When you’re on your profile page, scroll down to see tabs you can toggle between.

Click on the tab that says “Your Contributions.”

Underneath “Your Contributions,” you will see a link that says “Giving Statement” for the previous year.

To access the previous year’s giving statement, click the link. The link will take you to a page with a list of all of the previous year’s donations.

You’ll see the Mightycause Charitable Foundation’s information on the top-right corner of the page. Because donations on Mightycause filter through the Mightycause Foundation (formerly Razoo Foundation), which is a donor-advised fund, you will need to use the Mightycause Foundation’s information to claim these donations on your taxes. You can see the breakdown of the charity to which your donations were advised below.
