Personal fundraising on Mightycause means you can fundraise for a person or cause — even ones that aren’t nonprofits. Going on a mission trip this summer? Need help with your medical expenses? Helping a family recover from a natural disaster? You can start a fundraiser for yourself, or raise funds for a family or friend in need. Organizations that are awaiting their 501(c)3 Letter of Determination from the IRS, international nonprofits not yet registered in the U.S., and businesses can also set up personal fundraisers on Razoo.

Here are some examples: Heather made a fundraiser to raise funds for her son’s deaf blind intervener’s school tuition. Kali Bigelow raised funds for legal fees to get his son back in court.

A family friend helped Ezra’s family with their medical bills by fundraising with Mightycause.
