We’re all about collaborative impact at Mightycause, which is why we spent so much time revamping team fundraising on our platform. You have more customization options that ever, new tools to manage your team, new ways to recognize your partners and sponsors in the community, and a new leaderboard that inspires friendly competition.

We’re so into teamwork that we’re giving your team the chance to win a promotional boost from Mightycause in July and August. There are lots of chances to win, and participation is easy! Read on to learn how to win.

The Basics

Every 2 weeks in July and August, we’ll be running a contest to find the best and brightest teams that stand out from the crowd. To enter, create a post on Facebook during the contest periods listed below. We’ll pick a winner and pay to boost a post promoting your team on Facebook to help give your team extra exposure and a better chance at reaching your funding goals!

The Contests

Page Design Challenge

Dates: Monday, July 10, 2017 through Sunday, July 16, 2017

The Challenge: We’ll be picking the best team page design! This means having a cool background image, a well-written story (extra points for adding in media like photos and videos), and use available features (such as the Sponsors & Affiliate section). Write a post with a link to your page and follow the entry rules for a chance to win! Check out our page design tips to get a leg up on the competition.

Social Media Creativity Challenge

Dates: Monday, July 17, 2017 through Sunday, July 30, 2017

The Challenge: We’re looking for the most creative social media post! This can be anything — a video of your team, a photo post, participating in a social media meme (think Mannequin Challenge or Ice Bucket Challenge …), anything you want! We want you to show your creativity promoting your team.

Starting Line Challenge

Dates: Monday, July 31, 2017 through Sunday, August 13, 2017

The Challenge: If you’ve just started a team, this is your chance to get some extra exposure! If your team was started on or after July 15, 2017, show us your page! We’ll be picking the coolest, most promising new team fundraising campaigns with the best page designs to give them a boost at the starting line.

Finish Line Challenge

Dates: Monday, August 14, 2017 through Sunday, August 27, 2017

The Challenge: If you’ve been running a team campaign this summer and started your campaign before July 15, 2017, enter to win a push across the finish line! Link to your team page and make a post showing us your impact. Tell us why your team campaign is awesome and deserves a boost!

Entering your team into the contest is simple: Create a post with a link to your team, according to the contest schedule above. Tag Mightycause (@RazooGiving) and use the hashtag #RazooTeams in the post. Really — that’s it!

The Rules

There will be a new competition every 2 weeks according to the contest schedule, giving your team lots of chances to win. Refer to Mightycause’s Facebook page for announcements about the contests. The winners will be announced in a Facebook post and notified via email.

Your post must be public to be considered. Posts that fail to use the hashtag or tag Mightycause will not be considered. Entries must be made in the dates specified in order to be considered. You must include a link to your team page in the post!

Team organizers, team members, and nonprofits being benefited by team fundraisers are all eligible to enter.
