Mightycause announced today that the Sacramento Region Community Foundation has selected Mightycause as its technology platform partner to support the GivingEdge year-round fundraising website along with the Big Day of Giving giving day site.

Since the first local giving day that the Sacramento Region Community Foundation coordinated in 2013, more than 50,000 donors have helped local nonprofits raise $65 million through the region-wide, community-driven effort. 

On a year round basis, the Community Foundation runs the GivingEdge platform, which is the knowledge base that powers Big Day of Giving. GivingEdge was built to help everyone in the community discover organizations that match their interests. Organization profiles included in the searchable database are updated annually and include information on each nonprofit’s programs, governance, financial management, impact, and more.
